Skin problems, what imperfections?
The epidermis is a fragile ecosystem and all skin types can one day be faced with problems of imperfections. If skin problems tend to be frequent in adolescence, the time of puberty, adults are not spared either. More than half of women say they are frequently affected by skin problems. Imperfections can be multiple: acne, pimples, dilated pores, pigment spots, scars, etc. Acne is the problem that seems to be the most frequent. Blackheads and comedones are also regularly mentioned. Shiny areas, pimples and large pores can appear throughout life.
Combination to oily skin types are the most susceptible to skin problems. Indeed, these epidermis secrete more sebum, which constitutes a favorable ground for the appearance of imperfections. Normal skin, mature skin and sensitive skin can also be prone to imperfections due to several factors such as stress, hormonal changes, fatigue or heredity which can explain skin imperfections.
Certain external elements such as pollution, dust, smoking can impact the quality of the skin. Hygiene is of course essential! A diet that is too rich in sugars and fats can have harmful effects on the epidermis. Improper care can also cause a skin reaction.
